I’m Maria Pata, a coach with over 15 years of experience in Human Resources, empowering senior professionals and leaders to navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with major life and career transitions.

From parenthood to facing a life-threatening illness—a brain tumour—and later taking voluntary redundancy, I have lived through transitions that have shaped my understanding of change, growth, and resilience.

As a coach, I specialise in executive leadership development, career transitions, and managing organisational shifts.


What sets me apart is my solution-focused approach combined with cognitive behavioural coaching, designed to help you tackle limiting beliefs, set clear goals, and navigate the unknown with confidence and clarity. I have worked with clients from diverse industries—telecoms, finance, healthcare, and more—both in the UK and internationally.

Building my own coaching business was not an easy journey, but it has been one of constant learning and growth.

Credentials and Experience

With over 15 years of experience in Human Resources, I bring a wealth of knowledge in organisational change, leadership development, and performance management.

My career in HR provided a strong foundation for understanding the challenges professionals face during transitions and the strategies needed for growth and success.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Business Administration and a MA in Human Resources Management, which have provided me with a deep understanding of the business world and its operational needs. I also studied coaching at Ashridge (now part of Hult International Business School), where I gained a deep understanding of coaching methodologies and honed my skills in supporting individuals through uncertainty.

My background in HR, coupled with my coaching expertise, allows me to provide a holistic, practical approach to coaching, empowering leaders and professionals to navigate transitions confidently.

In addition to my HR experience, I am passionate about lifelong learning and have continually expanded my knowledge in coaching, leadership development, and personal growth. This ongoing learning process allows me to stay ahead of industry trends and offer the most effective coaching strategies for my clients.
